Jun 24, 2016  I purchased a Mac after being assured that it was easy to install OneNote on it through Office 365. I downloaded 365 today and, surprise surprise, no OneNote. How do I install OneNote on a Mac? It's a life-saving program for graduate students and I cannot do without it. Feb 18, 2020  There is no conspiracy to steal your data; OneNote for MAc is free so that Mac users working in mixed (Windows and Mac) Enterprise environments who have to collaborate with with co-workers are able to access collaboration documents stored on 365.

Hello everyone, you can now download OneNote for Macbook & iMac, before you do that, how are you all doing today? I hope you are all having a great day today. I hope you are all having a great day, if not don’t worry, sometimes life brings us darkness only to show us sunlight the next day. So hang in there and focus on your goals, things will balance out eventually. Anyway, please read on…

Today we will focus on one of the best digital notebook apps ever made. I am talking about the highly rated Microsoft OneNote app. It’s kind of new, as in they haven’t really been marketing it until just the couple of years. I decided to try OneNote one day, I didn’t even really want to try it but I was just curious and I was glad I decided to try it out! It was actually quiet cool and fun to use. Let me show you why this rare app is worth your time to download.

What Is Microsoft OneNote

With OneNote you can seize that moment of inspiration, plan that big event, or track that list of errands that are too important to forget. Whether you’re at home, in the office, or on the go, your notes are available to you on all your devices.

  • Your notes… your style —
Type anywhere on this free-form canvas and easily rearrange and move your content to any place on the page. Style your notes as you wish. Make your notes bold, italicized, or colorful and organize your content with tables.
  • Capture anything —

  • Powerful organization —
Organize your notes in a way that works best for you. Create, rename, search, sort, color code, and copy pages, sections, and notebooks to organize your content as you’d like. Keep your private notes safe.

Easily tag your notes so they stand out. Track a list of your daily to-dos, flag questions to raise after a meeting, or mark the important points from a lecture.
  • Think together —
Share your notes with your friends and colleagues, whether it’s a party your planning with others or a school project you’re working on with your group. Work together in a shared notebook at the same time.
  • Always with you —
Access your notes on your Mac, iPhone, iPad and other devices. Your notes are synced to the cloud making it easy to access your recipe notes on your iPhone at the store, your homework on your Mac in class, or your itinerary on your iPad during your trip.

When we started OneNote we set out to revolutionize the way people capture, annotate, and recall all the ideas, thoughts, snippets and plans in their life. As many of you have attested, OneNote is the ultimate extension for your brain, but it’s not complete if it’s not instantly available everywhere. We’ve already made a lot of progress in that direction with our mobile, tablet and online web experiences. But there was still a gap. People frequently asked us for OneNote on Mac, and for more ways to capture content.

Today we’re excited to complete that story with three major developments:

  1. OneNote for Mac is available for the first time and for free. With this, OneNote is now available on all the platforms you care about: PC, Mac, Windows tablets, Windows Phone, iPad, iPhone, Android and the Web. And they’re always in sync.
  2. OneNote is now freeeverywhere including the Windows PC desktop and Mac version because we want everyone to be able to use it. Premium features are available to paid customers.
  3. The OneNote service now provides a cloud API enabling any application to connect to it. This makes it easier than ever to capture ideas, information and inspirations from more applications and more places straight into OneNote, including:
  • OneNote Clipper for saving web pages to OneNote
  • me@onenote.com for emailing notes to OneNote
  • Office Lens for capturing documents and whiteboards with your Windows Phone
